Wow! Started 2008 with a bit of excitement! Went to a club in Beijing and at midnite they had a small fireworks display…Turns out that as everyone was hugging and kissing in the club, the fireworks triggered the smoke alarm and then water came from the ceiling to put out the fire! The people in that area of the club were drenched with water, something they did not expect at all as they paid a lot for a table near the stage! It was a bit chaotic…but luckily no real harm to anyone. It was an unexpected beginning to 2008! Spent the rest of the first week chillin’ and getting together with friends. It’s a short week and already the weekend! Hope you all have had a good start to this leap year!
