However, that concert was cancelled for some reason and Pepsi had promoted a contest to win tickets to MJ in HK. So Pepsi, very respectably, decided to fly the winners to Taipei. I think there were about 150 people. I was going along as part of FM Select radio. I was also known as a pretty good photographer so the large size glossy magazine called “B” asked me to take some pictures of his concert. I joined photographers who had come from around the world. When Michael appeared I found myself so close that my elbows were on the stage and he was just a few feet away. I had to back up to get a good shot! That concert was..well…one of the best I had ever attended. And being that close to the stage with my camera made me feel like I was caputuring just a quick reflection of one of the best talents the world has ever known! RIP
